Nancy is a founding member of Evolution Theatre and previously served as the company’s Director of Communications as well as a member of the Board of Directors. The company received critical recognition for its work through the Prix Rideau Awards and the Capital Critics Circle. Alvina Ruprecht, formerly of CBC Radio, called the company “an important contribution to the professional theatre scene in Ottawa.” Evolution Theatre, now in its tenth year of operation, was a mentor company under the Great Canadian Theatre Company and a Resident Company of the Arts Court Theatre.

She now produces her own work under Broken Turtle Productions, a bilingual theatre and film production company founded in 2011 in order to tell thought-provoking and entertaining stories, with a particular emphasis on stories written by women and exploring the role of women in society. The company is best known for producing Kenny’s one-woman show Roller Derby Saved My Soul and the feature-length documentary film, On the Fringe.
